OPENING SESSION RECAP
Keynote Dr. John Cromptonpresented information on the six eras of the parks and recreation department, stating that every department is in one of these eras. His session touched on the progression from program-focused to user-benefit-focused and then to community-benefit-focused departments. The address left Delegates thinking about how to position their departments in today's reality of tight budgets.
